16.11.2006. Nothing new for our users. Nikon finally confimed officially the Nikon D40...
It started with the very concrete rumour, we have reported in August already. Then theer was a leak on the internet site of a big german retailer called Neckermann, where you could see in the shop system already the photos of the D40, specs, prices etc. a few weeks ago:
Since Ken Rockwell is publishing now photos of the D40 on his site, we are no longer obliged to hide information. So a nice photo of the D40 is here:

- Price: 599.- Euro with new G-II Version of the well known 18-55mm Kitzooms;

- You can use only AF-S lenses (internal motor)
