    Astounding. What is the occasion? Something political? Is he an arabic person?
    Hope nobody out there understands the question false. Nothing else than photographic interest!

    Swann--we were just in a bar in NYC and he asked to do his portrait, despite the dark. He is my friend from Bangladesh, with whom I have shot some short films on digital video. He is quite a character!--mbru65

    PS.--I don't think it could have been taken with anything but a Leica M, at least not easily, though I think a Noctilux would have helped!

    Agree happily about the M. A Nocti is my dream lens too. A question about funds isn't it?

    I like the the original lighting and the effect of the candle, but am less convinced by the bright spots on top.
    Nevertheless I like it, since I like views that are "different".
