Thank you! It's a color negative film after E-6 process.
Even if not very original it is a nice picture. Shame for the wrinkles on the feet
Lovely portrait. Film or digital ?
I absolutely love the simplicity and serenity of this picture.
Fabulosa macro, os meus parabéns.
Just wondering what folks think of this photo?
i saw this photo long before i registered myself in this site. and now that i can post comments, i want to show my appreciation for it. i find it to be one of the best here. good work!
although i have bad prejudices with this kind of subjects in a photograph, i find this one to be a favourite. lights and colours are amazing, the compo is good and that clocktower strikes me down!
a succesfull night shot...
well composed, great shot
nice ir pict, man
I love the use of detail in this shot and how it is a message.
Thanks! Yeah, that was a luck to find it in a rainy forest. And Zeiss did its job perfectly fine.
I have looked at this numerous times--it reminds me of children posing for their photograph to be taken. I like the steel blue of the wood contrasting the bright yellow mushrrooms.
Thanks dirk_s for the comment. Everyone has taken the obligatory sunflower photo. Glad you like the bw version. I thought the buds looked like little faces--I'll try a different crop.
... and the third very good shot in a row. You should upload more of these. They are looking really good.
Also well done. I like this style.
Excellent. Perfect composition, nice colours.
Very good idea. Composition also good. The red colour makes it special.
I like the atmosphere this image is giving me when looking at it. Do you have a similar one more from the side of the car? Would be interesting to see how that would compare...
wow, impressive mountains. But I am biased, since I am a ski-fan
Nice idea to have this in black and white. I like this.
I am not sure, but it might have been even better if you would crop it more. So that there is less space in the lower right hand buttom corner and more space in the upper left hand corner.
I like images in this style a lot. Colours are great. But it seems that it is not exactly sharp, althoug shot with wideangle at F11. Do you have any idea why that is?
nice shot. Must be difficult to get this moment into "the box".
Mr. Bolch--I have looked at all of your "digital painting" photographs, and I think I like this one the best. Certainly, the subject matter and the techniques are perfectly matched. You are on the exact demarcation line of "is it a photograph or is it a painting." I have also visited your website and found it interesting and helpful. Thanks
Good pose, nice lighting, good dof -- except: are the eyes sharp? They look a little out of focus. Sharply focused eyes very important in most portraits including face. Something about the colors of her top isn't consonant with the rest of the colors in the shot. Also, while I like the tight cropping of the shot, given her small hips and the height at which she's wearing her pants, I'd like to see more or less included of the lower frame (her hips.)
John + Yoko !
Minerowl--I like this shot--a lot of tension--small boat, large rocks. Good shot. Also, thanks for your comments on my Pileated Woodpecker.
This image was taken in the sea windy day and some people were fishng
on the moving boat
You got a fortune to catch a wonderful moment.
Great. Nice shooting.
It's closer to you than it is to me
WOW! I WANT TO BE THERE!
Hi, Vladimir! Saw your works - nice. It's funny to call "start" a picture made on $3K gear though, especially after 25 years of shooting... ;-)
The photo has a little bit of power. The composition forcefully directs your eyes. The girls boarding the bus show great expectency, imminence, and maybe a little bit of fear. The gentlman in the background, surely a teacher or the bus's driver, appears a little bit eery. This was taken at nearly the precise moment.
Technically, contrast is a little high, and some areas are overexposed. The bus walls in the foreground, left and right, appear to have been burned in somewhat, or else vigne
Time of Day?
Date of Image?
Irakly--I keep coming back to this photo. I love the expression which seems to be well beyond her years.
could be an angel
Looks to me like a good pictorial idea, but not enough of the face is visible.
Interesting to me.
