G Lenses on Digital

I would love to use my G lenses on a digital camera such as the Epson RD-1 or whatever. I know am dreaming but hope springs eternal. Any thoughts on this?
 
I have converted my G45 to M mount so it could be fitted to RD1. However, I have no intention of doing so because I love film. I am sure G45 will perform in a very good way in RD1.
