How exactly (step by step)?

Did you copy/paste the image or did you go to flickr, copying a special code as described in the FAQ?
 
BTW, tthis photo still hasn't appeared in the photo contest feed

It can't. Because the deadline was yesterday. I wanted first to see, how it will work with the different ratings and when we are able to see the sum of the ratings at the top.

I will open another one later with a longer deadline to test.

I pressed the image icon in the header field (for new messages)
a box opened up with the option to “Drop image (or click here)”;
I selected “click here”;
Another box opened up giving me the option to open my iPad image library;
I selected that;
then I selected the image from the library;
the image downloaded into my message; and then
I pressed post reply…

That obviously worked well. I can see the images fullsize in your posting and also at the top on the overview poster.

It works the same from my PC.
