As you may have deduced, I am a cloud freak. I've even joined the Cloud Appreciation Society! A 3 shot pano with the H2

This morning's gorgeous silver lined clouds from Terranora (26/10/2009)

No blad but nice clouds

OK, it is unfair, I did not take this one with a Blad. But I still enjoy the cloud formations a great deal. This is an image from the NOAA19 weather satellite that I received on Oct 14. The little yellow cross is where I am

All very interesting, and a lovely shot, but gee it would be nice to get a comment on MY photo!

Sorry to be a bit sarcastic guys, but I do feel a bit hijacked here!

Hello Odille,

Nothing to worry about, great picture which makes clear you have an interest in clouds.
Reminds me of old Dutch master painters some fo them paid a lot of attention to clouds as well.
I liked your panoshot very much.
Like with the ones from Simon they convince me I need to take time off
to visit your part of the world.

You are very welcome to stay if you don't mind a chaotic old household with 5 cats, but great views and the sea and mountains very accessible. And as we are right on the border with Qld tht's readily accessible too. There are 8 national parks nearby including the iconic Mt Warning.

We rent here but will be here for another year or two (it's going to be knocked down for redevelopment into little boxes) and have lost of room and 3 sofa beds.

Thanks Odille,

Your warm invitation is impossible not to accept.
As soon as my obligations here are soughted out I will make a plan to survive the cramped space airlines allow travellers these days.

I managed to survive a trip to Hong Kong and the Phillipines.
Australia takes a couple of hours more flying.

Hi,

I have not posted for a while but will comment on your beautiful clouds - I've also enyojed your posts - thanks. I really like the fringe of light on the top and also the lower part gives some sense of atmoshphere of the warmer countries. I'm myself from a cold place, yuo'd probably call it an ice-box, but I also like very much your part of the world.

Cheers,

Ronald
