I love BW.....especially BW prints. Check out the Yahoo Groups Digital BW Print Exchange group if you're interested in participating in a monthly exchange (I'm the coordinator).

And here's another.....Galveston Texas, 1996.

Mamiya C220, 80mm lens, Ilford FP4, Epson 2450 scan

I have a hard time seeing much difference between these and what I'm getting from my Hasselblad/Zeiss system.

My wife just commented on how "3D" these images are. Have to say I cannot see a difference between Zeiss and Mamiya lenses. We have a Xpan with Fuji lenses and they are astounding a well. I do love the solid feel of the Zeiss lenses though, which the Fuji lack. Anyhow, here is an older B&W image of mine.

Nice to see some activity on this thread! I'll add another to keep it active and going strong. :)

I know the non-Hasselblad sections were eliminated, but I don't recall if non-Hasselbald images are allowed here or not. Paul...could you refresh my memory on this?

In the meantime...here's one of the few images I have taken with my 503CWD-II. I may have posted this on a different thread here....I can't recall (55 yrs old and already the short term memory is fading...not a good sign for the years ahead).

Hi Gary,

All images that help make a point for or even against Hasselblad are welcome here.
Hasselblad is an excellent choice but there are more good choices possible.

So post whatever you like. Even if the relationship with Hasselblad is very thin those images are welcome.

Thanks for clearing that up for me Paul. None of my images are meant to make a case for or against anything (that I can think of), certainly not for or against Hasselblad. My only problem is that, as a relatively new Hasselblad owner, I don't have a large collection of Hasselblad images to draw upon! I will do my best to correct this deficiency as soon as possible. :)

Hi Gary,

For or against is just a phrase to show the forum likes uploads to entertain any visitors.
It serves as the salt in the soup so to speak.
Although it is of interest to us users practically nobody will ask after he or she sees a good picture:
"With what camera was that image made?"

Nice truck you are showing!

More salt for the soup! Salt from Sweden and Germany this time. :))

Keeping with the farm mechanical theme here.....

Hasselblad 501CM and I don't remember which lens. Original image Fuji Provia converted to BW. Scanned with my Epson V750.

Nice first shot of the 250?

I had lots of opportunities but no camera to shoot with.
This wheather gives many opportunities for winter images.

Great images posted here everyone. I've enjoyed looking at all those posted. A terrific thread. :)

So, some from me - a variety of subjects. My apologies for any artifacts that have crept in.

For those who have not seen my Ducati shot, I will start with that:
