FM3A Any Problems with Black Paint on Body

I'm looking for feedback on the black used on the FM3A.

I just bought my wife an FM3A in chrome for Xmas and was saying to myself that black might be nicer (These problems only arise when you have choice of course!).

But then I was thinking that over time the black paint would fade or rub off, something I'm not looking for (although I know some find this desirable as camera looks "broken in")

Any feedback welcome

I have a two black bodies 24 & 34 year olds and look like new as I always use cases and take care of them. They do look good.
