C645 350mm Tele Apotessar T Tripod Mount

Does anyone have any experience with the 645 350mm Tele Apotessar T*? The tripod collar for my lens has a mount that will accept two different size threaded lugs. Should I be using both or are they just for different size lugs? Thanks!

Yes, I own the lens. The tripod mounts are 2 different sizes. You use one or the other depending on the size of your Tripod thread (1/4" or 3/8").
