I found this old description of 2010. Maybe a little bit changed since then.

This is how to embed flickr images..

(1): Click on the share icon.

(2): Select the desired size.

(3): Choose either HTML or BB Code. You will need HTML to post photos on Flickr; you may need BB Code to post a photo off-site. You may want to check with the destination site to see which code format they use.

(4). Click inside the large box to highlight the code, then copy using CTRL-C. Mac users: CMD-C.

And in 2020 someone wrot:

but Flickr works just fine if you copy the BBCode under the "share" icon. It looks like a little right-facing arrow under your photo. Copy that code, and toss it into a reply.

For Google I found this description:
Here's my how-to for linking images from Google Photos...

1) go to your image in Google photos
2) click the share icon > create link > create link > copy
3) go to this website and follow the instructions: https://www.labnol.org/embed/google/photos/
4) Highlight and copy the "direct image link"
5) navigate to the RF thread where you want to post the image.
6) click on the little picture item and paste the link in.
7) Let me know if I goofed in these directions.

It seems that not every image at Flickr can be shared with the BBcode. With some images, this tab for the BBcode is not available. I will do later a video about it.
