Inaccuracy of lcd

Has anyone else discovered that the image appears much brighter in the lcd of the digital rebel (300d) than it really is? I must always check the histogram to know whether my exposure is right.

Hi Mary Lou, yes, the LCD should not be used for proofing your images. I used to get inaccurate exposures if I relied on the LCD only. Remember, the histrogram is your friend!!
