Amsterdam in April

Trying to make hotel reservations in Amsterdam and Paris for our 10th yr. anniversary. Got my T3 on order already!

Anyone care to suggest places to stay? What about great places to photograph?

I highly recommend the Ambassade Hotel, superb location on the Herengracht Canal, excellent service and wonderful Dutch architecture.

Begijnhof;
The 3 main canals;
Brouwersgracht bend;
Golden Bend;
Flower market;
Signs on shop windows in Jordaan; and
I think you can go to the top of one of the churches to get an interesting view of Amsterdam. Haven't done this.

Check on status of bloooming flowers (bulb). This is an amazing sight.

Great! Thanks Diane for the suggestions, I'll definetely check it out as I need to book some reservations soon.

Got the T3 today, and shot my first roll. Really sharp and contrasty with great colors. Pretty cool.
