Contax Aria Faulty Aperture Readout Problem

Hi, the view finder in my Contax Aria gives an incorrect aperture reading. It appears to be one stop out eg.

actual lens aperture/camera reading
1.4/1.4
2/1.7
2.8/2
4/3.4
5.6/4
8/6.5
11/9.5
16/13

Does anyone know what can cause this and is it easy to resolve? Is there some adjustment I could make? Thanks.

Have you tried a range of different lenses to prove that it is consistent?

Yes it is the same with different lenses, so I'm pretty sure it is the camera. Thanks.
