How does the current 21mm f2.8 Biogon compare to the old Contarex and Contax RF 21mm f/4.5 Biogons? Does the new Biogon uses the same formula as the older lenses? Obviously the new lens is faster and has modern coating but the older Biogon was stuff of legends. If you have used two or three of the Biogons please share your views.
I have a chance to buy a Contarex 21mm Biogon converted to Leica M mount for a price similar to a modern 21mm with G1 body, so I am just trying to make up my mind!
