Leica mseries 50th anniversary celebration

I would like to know or have you perhaps heard of Leica celebrating its 50th anniversary of the m-series camera. If so would they come out with a new M3 with built-in exposure meter in limited editions. Will there be a black-bodied M3. 1954 was the year when the m3 was introduced. Will there be a special 50th anniversary brochure like they did with the 40th anniversary in 1994. If not I think they should or maybe we Leicanites can come up with ways to celebrate the M-series worldwide.

Ha! celebrate Leica by spending big bux on a 50 year old design? Excellent!

Why not celebrate the 50th anniversary by shooting some pictures with whichever Leica you happen to have?

Sonny I think that you are right - shoot pictures with what ever leica you have - but lets on the other hand not forget that we share this list with an equal part of people that use their camera for pictures - a part that really get it going with tech specifications and a part that simply collect the cameras and dont shoot that many pictures. I would believe that I belong in the first category but I think that we owe each other not to be irretated when someone of another "leice relegion" enters a question. After all some of theese hard core leica collectors have keept the company going in hard times byuing all their royal-weeding-cameras etc. ruben
