I have work for a year with a Metz 54MZ3 and 32MZ3 on my Canon ELAN 7E and work very, very fine. These quality units are a powerfull with many modes to work. I use for studio and outdoor jobs as well. I strongly recommend the off-shoe cord for indirect lght, and external power unit. The auto focus auxiliary light on Metz flashes is very good.

I've finally decided for Sigma Ef 500 st. I know it's only TTL (not e-ttl) but it has high guide number (50), horizontal swivel and vertical bouncing.
