We've had so many cats, and lost so many. Our Harriet-Muffin looked exactly like your cat.

Soon, get yourself to an animal shelter and adopt (rescue) another. You'll never forget the one(s) you lost, but you'll experience additional love you didn't know you had.

I join in the pain for the loss of your cat. Here is a picture of my cat who is now 4 years old, her name is "Luna" Moon in Spanish. Someday I will post several photos of her. Greetings

I’m sorry you lost a good companion.
Cats can be very demonstrative especially if ignored. Trying to work is next to impossible if deemed otherwise.
It’s easier just to stop. They can purr their way out of any situation.
