Shooting Vertical Format with H4D

I'm new to Hasselblad digital. I'd like to shoot using a vertical format. I've read the big/thick manual and couldn't find anything relating to switching from horizontal to vertical format in-camera. So is the only answer to either hold the camera at 90 degrees or place on tripod on "L" bracket or tilt screw plate on tripod 90 degrees with camera on its side? Just thought maybe I might have missed something about how camera could produce vertical format. I realize that sensor is fixed so resulting image would have to be smaller in both size and resulting digital data.

If vertical shooting is limited to just the old-fashioned tilt the camera on its size, I wonder if a digital back could be built so that it could be attached in vertical or horizontal position?
