Zeiss 80-200/4.0 in 2 different versions?

Hi

I just bought a Zeiss/Contax 80-200/4.0 Zoom used. I was surprised to see, that the filtersize is with this one 55mm. In the Contax MTF data, it is written 67mm. Look here:

Does anybody know whether teher have beeen 2 different versions? Mine is a MM version.

I also have an MM version with the 55mm filter thread. I don't ever recall it having a 67mm filter thread, but my 35-70mm MM has a 67mm filter thread though.

Hi Dirk,

Mine is an MM version and 55mm diameter.

Please note also that in your provided link, it says 55mm as well for screw in filters and 58mm for clip on types.
