Switching between CFV and film backs

I just purchased a CFV back and got it yesterday. I am still trying to figure out everything with it, but that's a different story. I was wondering if those of you that have a CFV, if you swtich between the digi back and film backs. If you do switch backs, do you run into the problem of lots of dust on the CCD? I am wondering if I need to find another body for my film backs since I still like to shoot film.

Thanks,

Warren

Warren,

swapping backs increases of course the likelihood of collecting dust on the sensor. I doubt a second body will help that much, because those bodies are not properly sealed and changing the viewfinder and/or lenses will 'invite' dust as well. The good news is, that cleaning the sensor on those backs is quite simple with a Rocket Blower or swabs and cleaning solution from time to time.

All the best,
Udo

Hi,
The CFV-50c sensor is protected with a glass window, making it easy to clean. I suppose this is the case with all digital backs of Hasselblad.
