The Dry Fountain

Hello,

This is the mid-section of a fountain at my favorite walking park. maybe in a couple more days the water will be turned on. although the fountain appears to be quite old, it was operational at the end of last season. It is more interesting when it is working.

Excellent pictures!
The flowers in the background really add to the first picture. And so much detail in that fountain too. Thanks!

AKV thank you!!

I did a crop of the second, to see the detail better of the entire fountain in one shot.

Nice, it looks like an old Victorian fountain. People strolling around it on a foggy night, with canes and top hats. lol.

Robert,

I agree that the flower patterns in the background in the first picture make a great texture that perfectly picks up the sculpted floral garlands in the fountain. Fantastic!

Thank you Jesse!

This statue is a favorite of the photographers in this area. When the fountain is running it adds to its beauty. Hopefully it will pump water while the flowers are still in bloom. :)

good luck with your pictures,

Robert
