SIGMA 70-200mm F/2.8 APO EX DG MACRO HSM II.. to buy or not to buy?

Hi everybody,
this is my first post here, so... sorry if I start with a question
I've found an apparently good offer for a: SIGMA 70-200mm F/2.8 APO EX DG MACRO HSM II at 650 €.
Anyone can tell me if I'm right thinking that it is different from the APO 70-200mm F2.8 EX DG OS HSM? I've read very good reviews about this Sigma as a valid substitute of the Canon lens.
Hopefully someone can help me.
Thx

I own two copies of this lens...one for my Sigma SD camera's and one for my Nikon cameras...both really good lenses...

The HSM is fast and the optics are good...it's a good substitution...can't speak on Canon systems..but Nikon I used both the 70-200 VRI and the Sigma HSM Macro...I can not tell the difference....

Hope this helps...Tony C.:z04_cowboy:
