XPan Kodachrome English Lakes District Project

I am uploading several images from my Lakes District project I describe in the XPan section of the Hasselblad forum. I walked 57 miles over several days (in the rain, mist, sun) with my XPan in my pack along with a tripod and three lenses. They are all taken with Kodachrome 25.

Hello David,

You went through a lot of trouble to get these images but that effort certainly paid off.
A tribute to the Xpan camera.
Thanks.

Tnx

This was a great project and healthy too (56 miles of hiking). Now I have to go back to walk Hadrian's Wall before I cannot get Kodachrome processed anymore!

Kodachrome xpan exhibit

The New Hampshire Institute of Art has accepted the series for a gallery show in the Spring of 2011. I am obviously quite pleased.

Congratulations David!

Hard work is rewarded by this invitation.
I am interested to hear more about the reactions and possibly awards for this series.

Once I finish university I will be on the lookout for an Xpan as a treat for myself (that is, if I don't convince myself that I need an SWC before the end of my degree!)

Thanks all for the comments. It makes it worth the worn out shoes and wet clothing. I left just in time. Worst weather in decades with major floods after I left the last week in September.
