I buy in second hands this zoom. I know a good quality of zoom 24-50. I try this lens a next week-end.
And you ? Have you experience with this lens ?
Quality, diffraction, distorsion, best aperture ?

Just bought one. Paired with my beloved X700, I shot a roll of slide film with it. Sharpness is good, somehow soft in the corners but this disappears at f/8 or smaller apertures. It doesn't compare to the mighty 24mm f/2.8 prime but for 8x10 prints it's nice.

It's worth the mere EUR 40 (50 dollars) I paid for it. I would even like it at 3 or 4 times that price...
